So, when we found about the seaplane ‘taxi’ it had to be a better option!

Landing on a reservoir in the suburbs of Kandy was a $7M Twin Otter seaplane and to our surprise, we were the only passengers – very elite! hehe…

Fourty minutes later we were on the west coast at Bentota and wandering down a sandy track by the beach in search of a tuk tuk.
