A day in Tokyo goes so fast. It was only 24 hours ago I was posting a panoramic dusk shot of Tokyo at night and since then we’ve wandered Shinjuku Gyoen park, explored the streets of Ginza and eaten at the famous Robatayaki restaurant “INAKAYA”.

Deserving an explanation, this establishment prides itself on freshly grilled meat, fish and vegetables – served to the diner on long wooden paddles (similar to those used by pizza makers) as well as a lot of friendly, enthusiastic shouting! They exclaim when you arrive, order anything, when it is served and even when you pay your bill! It is joyous shouting – a chorus of everyone creating a theatre out of an otherwise quite cosy, intimate environment. And yes, the food is great!

Off to Mexico in the morning. Sad to leave Tokyo but many exciting places still to explore…
